Inside the Head of a TV Junkie

One more quick post before I hit the sack…

I was promised a phone call about anything going on this evening and it never came. It’s sad but whatever. Sometimes people just suck… suck real bad.

Why is it ok for one group of friends to not want to do something out and about on a weekend night but completely unacceptable for others??

Example:

Two of my friends aren’t feeling like going out and doing something tonight. I do. If the roles were reversed, it would be completely unacceptable for me to say “no, I’d just like to stay in tonight.”

HOW IS THAT FAIR? UGH! Sometimes friends are more work than their worth! ;o)

I have 3 Hockey games in a row starting tomorrow night… You can bet that I’ll hear some shit from them about not going out on Saturday night or something…. AHHHHHH!!!

Sorry you guys, I just needed to vent a bit!!

Detroit! HERE WE COME! Steelers WIN! YEAH!!!

OH YEAH! 2/5/2006!

OK, I know I don’t write here as often as I should but I needed to post this before the game today.

Steelers @ Broncos. We need to win! I’m so nervous. Been nervous since Wednesday!!

Anyway, if we lose today, I may just have to call in sick to work tomorrow!

Ok, time to get ready to go to the bar. I’ll post after the event since maybe all of you don’t follow the NFL.

Best Director - Ang Lee - Brokeback Mountain
Best Screenplay - Brokeback Mountain
Best Original Song - Brokeback Mountain
Best Original Score - Memoirs of a Geisha
Best Actress - Drama - Reese Witherspoon - Walk the Line
Best Actor - Drama - Joaquin Phoenix - Walk the Line

So, this being said… the Oscars will come down to two movies - Brokeback Mountain and Walk the Line.

This may be a year where we have best Director and Motion Picture that don’t coincide with best Actress and Actor. It’s going to be quite interesting.
