So this is only viewable by friends because only a select few are friends on LJ. So I need your advice.
I got the invitation to the wedding yesterday. What should I do? What would you do in my situation?
I’m 70/30 RSVP-ing no.
This is the wedding with the crappy jackass who is being an ass to me and is currently not speaking to me at all.

Hmmmmm…..go with your gut. If you guys will fix things and be friends in years to come then it’s better if you go. If you already bought your plane ticket and think you’d have a good time with friends while you are there, then go. But if you think it feels better to not go because he’s such a jack ass then stay at home. Ultimately do what is best for you, not him. But it’s a good sign if he sent it, right?
I have to agree with Stacey–if you go out of obligation then you will wind up being miserable. Only go if you are going to have the friend support necessary.
If anything you can not go and just send them a gift, if you want to be polite about the whole thing, which is far more than this friend has been to you.
