Ratings…

First, let me say that “Happy Hour” was cancelled by FOX. No surprise, that show was dumb.

Second, here are the ratings for Tuesday night. (every tenth in the ratings = 100,000 viewers)

8pm hour -
Dancing with the Stars (first hour): 10.9 rating
NICS: 8.7 rating
House: 8.6 rating

9pm hour -
Dancing (last half hour): 13.5 rating
Help Me Help You (after dancing): 8.0 rating
The Unit: 7.7 rating
Law & Order: CI: 7.1 rating
Standoff: 5.0 rating

10pm hour -
Law & Order: SVU: 9.8 rating
Boston Legal: 6.6 rating
Smith: 6.4 rating

Dancing with the Stars is helping to keep ABC on top of the ratings on Tuesday nights. Overall, the networks stack up as follows: CBS, ABC, FOX, NBC. NBC is desperatly trying to break out of last place which they’ve been in ever since “Friends” went off the air. ABC has consistantly won the 18 to 49 demo which is the most coveted demo of them all. The rankings I listed were from the official ‘premiere week’ of the fall season that was last week. These numbers may change as shows get deeper into the season and as shows get cancelled.

I’m posting the ratings so you guys get an idea of how well shows are doing. I will try to keep you updated on the shows that get cancelled. I will only post the ratings when I think there are interesting things to report.
