Early Voting

1600x1200Early voting is an option if you live in Arizona.  Maricopa County has 10 designated locations where you can cast your ballot before November 4th.  The deadline is this Friday (sorry for the late notice).  Click here (pdf) for the location list.  Early voting can be a good idea if you’re worried about the wait times at your polling place on Nov. 4th.  A friend of mine tried to go vote at the Scottsdale location today during her lunch break.  The wait was almost 3 hours.  Your mileage may very.

AZ Props – Reminder

I want to remind all of you  voters here in Arizona to do your research on the propositions.  Over 90% are backed by special interests that are trying to get protection in the AZ Constitution.  Read up on each prop and do some hunting for educated opinions on both sides of the issue.

In my opinion, you should vote NO on every proposition on this year’s ballot.

Crazy Video!

The driver of the car below claims to have been cut off while making a right hand turn from Roeser on to 7th St here in Phoenix.  Not entirely sure why she was driving so fast!  Doesn’t really add up.  Anyway, she was cited for failing to yield along with driving without a license and driving with no insurance.  Crazy!!

Pushing the Envelope

This image is from the home page of Calvary Community Church.  As you can see from their website, they are pushing the envelope when it comes to maintaining their tax exempt status with the IRS.  Unfortunately, nothing will probably come of this, which is sad.  Why have rules if they aren’t going to be enforced?  It’s also important to note that this church is right next to a major freeway and has a HUGE banner drapped across the front urging passers-by to vote yes on 102.  Disgraceful.

More Evidence

More evidence that Global Warming is a farce.  Unfortunately, information like this will never be reported on in the main stream media.  Global Warming is too juicy.  Just take comfort in knowing that humans won’t cause this planet to burn up to a crisp.

Interesting Photos

Here are two photos I took today as I was driving back home from going to the eye doctor.

Ugh!  The driver was a guy!!!

This photo was taken at the QuickTrip.  My light came on and I figured I should fill up.  Nice!

Wheel of Fortune – Million Dollar Winner

Watch the video below.  MIchelle Loewenstein won the $1M prize on Wheel the other day.  How hard is that to win you ask?

The player must land on the million dollar wedge on the main wheel (nestled nicely between two bankrupts).  Michelle did this on her frist spin.  The player must also not get a bankrupt throught the entire game after they are holding the $1M wedge.  Again, Michelle was able to survive all the remaining rounds, ultimately beating out the other two contestants in total money earned, without getting a bankrupt.  Finally, during the bonus round or grand prize round, whatever it’s called, the player must spin the small wheel and land on the $1M prize that replaces the $100,000 option.  That’s a 1 in 25 chance of landing on the $1M prize.  Of course, the player must also solve the final puzzle correctly.  Well, Michelle accomplished all of it and it made for some entertaining TV.

XBox 360 – Issue

Take a look at the YouTube video I have posted below.  This is what happens when fast moving bright lights move across the screen on my XBox 360.  Anyone had this issue before?  Anyone know how to fix it?  Very annoying.  It just arrived after updating my XBox360 (I haven’t used it ina  long time and I’m not sure when the update I applied was released).
