Two iPhone Pictures
Mar 31st
I took the following pictures with my iPhone. The first one was taken with the regular camera app that comes with the iPhone. The second was taken with TwitterFon’s image capturing option. For some reason, the photo from TwitterFon is much brighter than the iPhone version. I took multiples with the iPhone camrea app but could never get the image to be as bright as the TwitterFon version.

Brilliant Movie Theatre Idea
Mar 30th
The movie theatre at the Garden View mall in Anaheim, CA has a select number of screens that are for patrons that are 21 and over only. You can buy beer and wine at the special consession stand. That’s a nice perk but the best thing is that you don’t have teenagers/babys/children ruining your movie viewing! I wish we had a theatre like this in the Phoenix area. Below is a photo of their special lobby.

NCAA March Madness
Mar 29th
I attended the Western Regional Division Championship games this past Thursday and Saturday. Our seats weren’t too bad and two out of the three games were actually exciting so I can’t really complain. Would I go again, absolutely. Who knows when the NCAA will bring games back to the area though. We had so many empty seats, it was kind of ridiculous. Granted, the games were taking place in the football stadium but still, we hardly broke 18,000 spectators. A view from my seat below.

I also had to take a photo of this guy that was sitting a few rows in front of me. I wish I could have gotten a better photo but there just wasn’t any opportunity. He was cute.

Disneyland 2009
Mar 29th
If you follow me on Twitter, you most likely know I went to Disneyland for my birthday (3/23). Below are some pics that I posted via Twitter and some that I did not. Enjoy!
I added a gallery under these few photos that I felt needed to be featured.

I was saving Emily from the Evil Emperor Zurg!

Emily and I on the Tea Cups.

I had to snap this photo of this guy who is clearly too busy to be at Disneyland!!
Enjoy the rest of my photos in the gallery below.

Hotmail Anniversary!
Mar 17th
I went into Hotmail today to turn off forwarding so that I could have gmail access my old hotmail account through POP3 (better spam protection). When I went into my account information page, I was greated with the image below. It appears that today is my 9 year Hotmail account creation anniversary! Woo!! I wish Yahooo! Mail would show this info. I’ve had a Yahoo! address years longer than a hotmail address.

Crazy YouTube Video
Mar 15th
The first 30 seconds of this video are amazing. This is on reason why crowds scare the shit out of me. A large group of peple with a dash of panic makes for a disasterous situation.
Cox Cable & the SDV Adapter
Mar 13th
Cox has been very slow in putting out the SDV (switched digital video) adapter that is needed to watch a good portion of the channels provided with a digital cable subscription. I was so peeved that they didn’t much care about CableCard users and TiVoHD users that I even complained to the FCC about the whole thing. I got a letter response from the FCC and also a letter from Cox in response to my FCC letter. When SDV was being deployed in PHX, Cox CableCard users were given the option of getting a Cox box to watch the channels that were affected by this move, at no cost. Unfortunately, this was for only a Cox box and not a DVR, that would cost extra. The reason I have a TiVo is because I don’t watch TV live so I opted to not take advantage of their “generous offer” and did without those channels for about 5 months.
In the response letter I recieved from Cox, I was told that they were going to be deploying SDV adapters in the PHX area soon and that, as soon as they were available, I would receive notification. Well, guess what. No letter came letting me know the SDV adapters were available. In fact, SDV adapters were available in the PHX area a full week before I recieved the response letter from Cox. WTF?! So, last weekend I went down to the Cox store in Tempe and picked up an SDV adapter. I thought it was going to be a small little thing you would attach to the cable in. Unfortunately, that is not the case (see image below, the cisco box). I guess I can’t complain too much. It’s free and I get my channels.

12 of 12 – March 2009
Mar 13th
I forgot my camera and didn’t remember until I was well on my way to work. March’s 12 of 12 is all via my iPhone camera. Some photos came out really well.

Running just a bit late to work this morning.

My commute to work… LA’s not so far away!

Speed Cameras on I-10 – FUN!

My work snack, a banana and caffeine!

Time to go home – I only had a 30 minute lunch, don’t judge.

Had to stop at the store for some essentials.

Olive eating, the little pig!

So cute!

I made a roast for dinner in the crock pot.

Looking into my next vehicle but not that color!

Working for a transportation company has it’s perks. Ford Partner Program allows for a hassle free car shopping experience!

Ending the night with a little Big Bang Theory (Yes, I’m that far behind on TV).
I hope you enjoyed this month’s edition! Come back next month when I hope to remember my camera!
