I’d always known about the show Flipping Out on Bravo but I never took the time to watch it. This season, the previews intrigued me so much that I added it to my TiVo. I’m glad I did.
Flipping Out is one of the funniest reality shows on TV. It’s also one of the most interesting. Jeff Lewis is absolutely crazy but he’s also a smart businessman. Maybe that’s what has kept my attention. He’s a master at controlling the situation but then has to vent afterwards in sometimes bizarre ways. This season has him dealing with the economic downturn and how he’s had to change his business from flipping houses to doing remodeling projects. Watching him interact with clients and deal with contractors is, in my opinion, fascinating. To round out the whole package, his assistant Jenni is hilarious. I have no idea how she puts up with everything but she keeps a positive attitude throughout and interjects comedic relief during her “diary” sessions.
If you have some free space on your DVR, I highly recommend you try out an episode or two.
