Okay, vacation part two. (I’m currently writing this from Jimmy Mak’s in Portland while listening to some live jazz) We spent the last few days on the Oregon coast. The first night was in Seaside, which was amazing! I have never seen such wide beaches. The sand was super fine and the vistas were beautiful. We had dinner at Yummy Wine Bar and Bistro, which I must remember to Yelp. If you’re ever in Seaside, check that place out. Sylvia and I both stated that if we ever lived in the Portland area, we would get a vacation rental in Seaside.
The next stop on our trip down the Oregon coast was Cannon Beach. That town is absolutely amazing! The beach is amazing, the shops are amazing, the restaurants are amazing! We spent utterly too much time on the beach here but it was well worth it. That put us behind on the rest of our trip down to Newport but I think it worked out for the best. Most of our other stops were disappointing.
There are going to be lots of photos postes this Saturday or Sunday. So far, this trip has been amazing. More exploration of Portland will continue tomorrow and another update will come soon.
