Dog Food Snob?
Call me crazy but I only want the best for my dogs. I have been feeding them Canidae but I have been reading some troublesome reports on the internet of bad batches of dog food making it into circulation with dire consequences for the dogs that ingested it. So now I’m a bit freaked about the brand. I was thinking that I should switch it up to something new, but researching high quality dog food is not easy!
Do any of you, my readers, have suggestions?
I was thinking of going with Orijin, Chicken Soup for the Dog Lovers Soul or Innova EVO.

I have to say it – told ya so. I remember taking a ride to the feed store with you to pick up dog food and saying that switching brands periodically is a good idea. Trust your animal science cousin. I did not take dog nutrition just for poops and giggles.

If you want to give your dogs the best food possible you need to feed them raw. All that commercial stuff is never going to be as good for them as fresh human grade meat will be. I have recipes for you or you can look into purchasing frozen raw food. It will make a world of difference to their health. I probably sound like some sort of animal nut but i only feed my cats raw food and they have had a clean bill of health since I started. Let me know if you need some help or guidance on this. Maybe a visit will be in order to get you guys onto a new diet regime.
