So I’ve been wrestling with programmable thermostats for the last two days. I can’t seem to get them to work. Either their already broken or they won’t turn on the heater when the “heat” function is engaged. I will be calling Honeywell tomorrow for technical assistance and let’s hope it’s an easy fix.
I think there’s something wrong with me. All of these thermostat packages say that they install in 15 minutes and are easy as 1, 2, 3…
You’re probably just overtired…or have that stupid oatmeal brain that tends to happen when you’ve been to busy and have a cold. Good luck, I’m sure you’ll figure it out.
What is your heating system? Gas? Electric? Heat Pump? Oil?
Heat Pump. I wanted one that will run off of the system power but Honeywell is telling me to get one that is battery powered. HVAC people want $200+ to come install one for me.
