Some Updates

So, it appears that we have a new builder coming into the neighborhood.  They are removing all the weeds from the empty lots and there seems to be some site work going on.  This is good news!  New homes means a complete neighborhood and a healthier HOA.  Also, they replaced the burnt out playground that was an eyesore in the community.  Things are looking good!  Oh, the city is also working on getting the new park finished next to the neighborhood.  It looks like this fall the dogs and I will have a new place to walk!

My DLP needs a new bulb.  I bought one and it has arrived but I need to install it.  My TV randomly turns itself off at the moment.  :)

Other things are falling into place as well… things are turning for the better, I think!

St. Louis Update

Today’s humidity was insane. Insane.

No pictures to upload because I forgot my card reader at home and since Apple feels those are useless features to include on their MacBooks, I am stuck with no options. I will post a couple tomorrow as I don’t get back into PHX until late this evening.

Weekend in St. Louis

I’m spending the weekend in St. Louis. I will try and post some photos of my adventures before I come home on Sunday, but no promises!

Oh, and lucky me, the temps will be in the mid to upper 80s with 70% humidity. Ugh. I may die.

My Civic Duty

I have jury duty beginning tomorrow. Fun. It’s supposed to last for a week and a half but we’re only doing afternoon sessions. At least I won’t fall behind at work!

Thanks Uncle Sam!

I don’t want to brag but Uncle Sam was very generous this year. It mostly had to do with all my real estate holdings, but I’m not complaining!

Sadly, I won’t be able to splurge with my refund. I need to save it for mortgage coverage as I try to rent my condo again.

I’m Back…

Yeah, so I have been slacking on my posting recently.  Sorry folks.  I will have my 12 of 12 for March up later today.  Until then, tell me what’s wrong with this image.

Our Cleaning Lady

So we have a cleaning lady and her name is Rosie… and she’s a robot… a Roomba to be exact.  :)  I love her so much.  Every day at 11 she sets out to accomplish the task of picking up every last bit of dog hair lying on the floor and she does a pretty damn good job of it.  She sweeps the kitchen and dining area, the living room, master bedroom, the bathrooms and even the office.  After she’s completed her task, she goes back home to recharge for the next day.  She’s amazing.  Only once this week did she get lost and need help finding her way back home (locked herself in the master bathroom water closet).  I’ve attached a photo of the carpet showing the pattern she followed while in the office for you to view in amazement.  :)
