I’ve found a new podcast that is slowly becoming one of my favorites. It is called Stuff You Missed in History Class and each episode is a different subject. The hosts do a good job of making history amusing and interesting. It appears that most of the information they talk about are the small details that would have taken too much time to get into during a regular high school history class. Anyway, I recommend you check it out. They have many different subjects already published in iTunes. Find one that you find interesting and take a listen.

Twitter and My Blog
I’ve just installed a new plugin that will post to my Twitter account when I update my blog. This should be helpful for those people who follow me on Twitter but don’t use Google Reader or some other RSS reader to follow my blog.
It’s a new year and I’m trying to be more proactive in my posting here. So far, I think it’s going well.
Breaking News and Twitter
This link is why Twitter rocks!
Below is a screen shot taken of Google News. Really Reuters? An A380 is a “small plane”?

New Podcast Feature
With the recent update to the iPhone software, the way podcasts are listed changed. Instead of showing the newest to oldest, we now get them as oldest to newest. Why is this such a good thing? Well, when you’re behind in your podcast listening (like me) you can select the oldest in the list and the rest will play in succession. I used to have to go back into the iPod application and choose the next oldest program when they were sorted newest to oldest. This makes things much more simple, IMO.
Did anyone else notice this change or is everyone always up to date on their podcast listening?

XBox 360 – Issue
Take a look at the YouTube video I have posted below. This is what happens when fast moving bright lights move across the screen on my XBox 360. Anyone had this issue before? Anyone know how to fix it? Very annoying. It just arrived after updating my XBox360 (I haven’t used it ina long time and I’m not sure when the update I applied was released).
Stupid iTunes!
For some odd reason, I keep getting the error message below from iTunes when I try to sync my iPod or iPhone.

I have gone into my music folder and made sure that all users have all permissions to the folder and their contents, but I still get this error. Who knows what is going on but it’s very frustrating. iTunes should at least tell me which file it can’t access so I can make sure that I have the settings set correctly for that file.
I read on one site that someone solved the mystery by adding one album at a time to his iPod. Ummm, WTF. He must have a very small library. I have 826 albums. Adding each individually would take FOREVER!
Has anyone else had this issue or does anyone have a suggestion on how I can fix it?
Corporations and Twitter
I came into work today and began doing some research into Home Depot issues we’ve been having. I received some emails overnight that were very frustrating. Basically, I was being asked to provide more examples to someone who already said they wouldn’t be able to help me. I’ve been dealing with this issue for over two months. Obviously I was annoyed.
Anyway, I decided to vent my frustration on Twitter. To my surprise, I received a response to my Tweet by someone at Home Depot corporate asking if there was anything they could do to help. I haven’t responded and pobably won’t, but it is kind of cool that Home Depot has people monitoring tweets for dissatisfied customers. Horray for technology!
