So let me just preface this post by saying that we were SHOCKED when we first saw this ad on Irish TV. This came on after 9pm on the free basic TV station. I’m sure young children would not be watching at that time but still, yikes! In my opinion, this is how PSAs should be made. If they aren’t shocking and memorable, what’s the point?!

Wheel of Fortune Disasters
Ok, so I ran across a few of these while perusing YouTube. Ouch!! The second one is the worst!!
American Idol – David Archuleta
I really think this kid is going to go far in AI this season. Even though the real competition doesn’t begin until Tuesday, he’s already one of my favorites. Below are some YouTube clips of his auditions for AI as well as a video of him as a young kid performing a cappella for Season 1 American Idol contestants (recognize Kelly Clarkson?).
Extras – A “Must See” British Comedy
What could be better than a show where real movie stars play themselves and, at the same time, don’t worry about looking like fools? Not much. That’s what makes Extras the best show you’re not watching. The show revolves around the two main characters and the different situations they are put in being extras on films and TV shows. If you’re a fan of “The Office,” you’ll most likely enjoy this show. Give it a chance. You can rent the seasons on DVD and catch new episodes on HBO. See the YouTube clip below for a sampling of the show.
Grand Central Freeze
An interesting prank/stunt pulled off in Grand Central Station in NYC.
Whitney Houston – Old School
This weekend I was reminded of how much I enjoy the classic, old school Whitney Houston. Check out a few of my favorites via YouTube music videos. Classic!!
Gmail: In Your Words
Google asked people to submit their stories about Gmail. They received hundreds of video submissions and emails. They put together a small montage of all the videos which you can view below. I have one question though, why is it still in beta???
“That’s What She Said”
Probably one of the more amusing “mash up” videos I’ve seen on YouTube.
Effecitve PSAs?
Leave it to the Canadians. Why can’t our PSAs be more like this?!
From American Idol Last Night
This was the first song performed by the contestant looking to make it to Hollywood Week. I figured I’d find the video and put it on the site. It’s a classic.
